I can see clearly now

Because I got new glasses! Not too long ago I wrote about my evolution of eyewear and how over the years my style in glasses has changed and they just keep getting bigger and bigger. Well, I was beyond due for a exam and the evolution continues!

Just in case you don't want to read the entry, here's a reminder of what I was wearing in 2011. I had more than this one pair but I pretty much wore these every day.

And here are the new ones! I really love them even though they are completely different from the normal style, color, shape I get. I made a joke yesterday that this is my grown up hipster look. Ha!

2012 - First new pair of glasses

This is totally random but I really like the 2012 pic of me but 

my hand placement is driving me beyond crazy.

Starting 2012 off in a good place as far as my glasses are concerned. 

Cant wait to order more!

Tiny visitor in the bed

Last night I had another mom first and its funny, I never noticed that it was something we hadn't experienced before until I was laying there thinking about it. The girls have never crawled into bed with us cause they were scared before last night.

the wind was blowing pretty hardcore last night and next thing we know there is a little knock on our door and L's voice coming through the door saying the wind was scaring her. She wanted to crawl in bed with D but with her having school the next day, we told her no. She crawled in bed with us.

It started out okay and I was laying there cuddling my youngest thinking about how even though they drive me crazy and I don't think I'm a good mom, I love these kids something fierce. Its nothing I could ever put into words. Im laying there soaking up all the cuddles because one day all of them will be too big for me to cuddle and Lyric is my last. I went from peaceful happy mom to annoyed and in pain.

Turns out our tiny L is a bed hog, a serious friggin bed hog. I ended up laying on my side on the very edge of the bed. If I had even tried to roll over I would have fallen off the bed. Finally push her back to the center of the bed and now she cant get comfortable and every few seconds I have a foot kicking me or a elbow hitting me. I get up and go to the couch to sleep, decided to let her win.

Woke up this morning on the couch with a foot on my bladder and a dog half on her leg thats on me. Turns out the mini bed hog decided to follow me to the living room at some point and turn into a couch hog.

Ah motherhood. Gotta love it.

Wtf was I thinking?

 I got this crazy idea the other night to completely wipe and redo the site.

Needless to say, I clearly didn't think this through all the way & Im kicking myself for this idea that I stupidly ran with. But, I dont think id really be me if I didnt do random shit like this.

So....

It's a new year, the blog is getting a overhaul once I get an idea of WHAT I want to do with it look wise. I'm sitting here beyond frustrated and trying NOT to throw my macbook into the front yard.

Washington Winter Wonderland

Or in my case it was a Winter nightmare. Thankfully the car that stopped during the video saw me when they were driving back home towards housing {I was sadly still walking the same direction smh} and were nice enough to drive me the rest of the way to the shoppette, wait for me and and drive me back home.

Nice there are still kind people in the world. I dont think I would have but only out of fear that once I stopped I wouldnt be able to get moving again lol.
